Projects are coming our way already!!!
[but we will still enjoy our trip here ;-)]

Went out with my my groupmates to take photos for the ritual project. Snapping photos for ethnography become more tedious when you are in another country. As we do not know how are the people here like, we are doubtful about whether we will get scolded by them if we starts to do so.

However, it was not as tough as we thought it will be! In fact, the locals are more approachable as compared to singaporean.

The people here are nice to us when we are nice to them(tit-for-tat). When i tried to approach a fruit vendor for an interview, I initially thought that she was quite fierce! But as i started talking to her and asking her some questions, she became more friendly towards me. Hence, we managed to find out many interesting things from her.

Oh! and I bought lots of little tomato! My favourite snacks!

On a side note:
Thanks peiyu for always applying moisturizer for me!

Thanks everyone for celebrating my birthday for me!

The thoughts of not able to spend my birthday with my family this year do made me feel a bit troubled. However, the night of mayhem which DXPD brought to me was really heart-warming. It was so unexpected. I thought it was just a gathering for all of us, until the moment when they brought in the birthday cake. The most hilarious thing was that I actually did went to the market with some of them to buy ingredients back for cooking dinner. Yet, I did not sense anything fishy.

My clique tried to trick me into the surprise birthday celebration's plans too. This time round I was smart enough to know what were they up to. haha! They came to knock on my door at twelve mid-night and brought me back to their room. With a lighted birthday cake, a mischievous side candle and a group of fun-loving babes, I spent the first few hours of my birthday with full of exultant joy!

When Cindy and I first stepped in, we were extremely excited! We thought it will be small and dirty but it was totally the opposite. The room looks big and comfy, just like any hotel room.

We went to the warlmart to buy our necessity; hangers, utensils, mugs, pail, hair dryer, etc. Most of the things here are cheaper then those in singapore. However, we got to know that the electronics here are much more expensive.

Never did I expect that the shopping malls and supermarkets here are quite similar to that of singapore. And what really excites me the most are all the cheap yet beautiful clothes.
